No Bake Halloween Treats!

Halloween is around the corner and to get everyone in the festive spirit early this year I’m here to talk about Cute and Creepy NO BAKE Halloween treats!

It’s the perfect Halloween family activity everyone will surely enjoy and will make a great treat to devour after Trick or Treating!

I purchased ALL my ingredients from Bulk Barn in Grasslands (Except the Oreos and Strawberries). I have to admit this was my first time to visit and I was blown away! I had the biggest smile on my face, you know that “kid in a Candy Store” feeling hit me hard! I’m so excited for my next trip at Bulk Barn as the prices are reasonable and I am looking forward to discovering new things. In the meantime let me share our Spook-tacular No Bake Halloween treats below.

Marshmallow Monsters

Marshmallows alone are already tasty on their own, but adding some candy wafer melts and sprinkles makes a spinechilling treat for all to enjoy. Bulk Barn has a variety of Candy Wafer Colours available!

What you need:

• Orange and Green Coloured Candy Wafers
• Marshmallows
• Candy Eyeballs
• Gel frosting
• Sprinkles
• Coconut Oil

Step 1. Melt candy wafers in a bowl in the microwave
Step 2. Add a little coconut oil (half a teaspoon) just to make the the candy easy to work with
Step 3. Dip marshmallow into melted candy wafers (use a toothpick to make it easy to dip)
Step 4. Sprinkle your toppings and place in the fridge for 20 minutes
Step 5. Once they have set, use icing to stick the eyeballs in and place it in the fridge again for 20 minutes

BOO-berries!

This is a very similar recipe and steps to our previous Marshmallow Monsters which is excellent because you get more BANG for your Buck using the extra ingredients you bought at Bulk Barn! We wanted to make Jack-O-Lanterns and Ghosts.

What you need:

• Orange and White Colour Candy Wafers
• Sprinkles
• Candy Eye balls
• Strawberries
• Black Gel Icing tube

Step 1 Melt the candy wafers in the microwave
Step 2 Add 1/2 teaspoon coconut oil
Step 3. Add dip strawberries in chocolate and sprinkles and put them in the freezer for 5 minutes
Step 4. Put on the candy eyeballs using the frosting and place in fridge for another 20 minutes

CUTE & CREEPY Critters

Our last NO bake Halloween treats are Cute & Creepy Bat Oreos! This is actually the EASIEST to make.

• What you need:
• Oreos Double Stuff
• Candy eyeballs
• Sprinkles
• Black Gel Icing

Step 1. Make the your wings! take some Oreos removing the the fillings and cut the in halves.
Step 2. Take the wings and insert them into the cream filling of Oreo and press down.
Step 3. Use Gel icing in zig zag pattern and place the spooky eyes at top.
Step 4. Finish of with sprinkle toppings
