Shining a Spotlight: Jasmine Paterson

Hi! I’m Jasmine Paterson & I am the owner of Bellezza Moda. We’re coming up on our 12th year in business and I couldn’t be more grateful for the joy this career in entrepreneurship has given me.

I started Bellezza Moda at 17 out of my locker in high school here in Regina, soon growing to do Tradeshows, e-commerce, and eventually opening my first store right here at Grasslands! Our staff consists of 10 amazing ladies and myself, and we have distributors across Canada who also sell our products.

Being an entrepreneur in Regina has been the biggest blessing. I have made connections with other amazing female entrepreneurs with like-minded dreams. Seeing women start out so small and seeing them grow into stores, more events, expanding into new markets…. It is just the craziest thing, especially at a local level. It really makes you proud to say, “Hey, I know them!”. Regina is an amazing city to start a business in; our community is incredibly supportive of new innovations and ideas.

Connecting with clients and customers on a very human level has been my biggest happiness in being a business owner. This is definitely one thing shopping local has over online: the interactive and personal relationships we build with our returning customers. I just wanted to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has graced our doorstep and taken a chance on our products and services. If you haven’t been in yet, haven’t been in a while, or come every week… we’re always glad to have you, and excited to see you in!
